Executive Team (Toronto and Offshore) Ajit Patil: Executive Director & CEO Ajit Patil is one of the founder members of Vertex Software which became NTT DATA Vertex. He has worked to develop an atmosphere of trust, transparency and openness with customers, employees and investors. His obsession for uncompromised customer satisfaction and quality services has set high benchmarks for NTT DATA Vertex to achieve. Before co-founding Vertex Software he worked for large software companies in India and the United Kingdom (UK). He has meritoriously completed his Masters in Technology from IIT Kharagpur and Bachelors in Engineering from College of Engineering Pune. Masafumi Hoshi: Director Masafumi Hoshi, a graduate from the Tokyo Institute of Technology joined NTT DATA CORPORATION in 1995. It has been no looking back on his professional path as an Application Engineer and an Infrastructure Engineer for a short stint. His Alma mater gave him the flair to work as a teacher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In 2011 he joined NTT DATA Vertex and continues doing so with a progressive chart by making valuable contribution. . Shigeki Nakamura: Representative Director & CEO, Japan Shigeki Nakamura brings with him a rich experience in sales and marketing. He has been at key positions in network integrator companies like NextCom (Now Mitsui Knowledge Industries) and Network Value Components. He played a key role in launching new services for major mobile phone operators in Japan. . John Macdonald: CEO (US & Canada) John Macdonald is CEO at NTT DATA Vertex Inc. with responsibility of Business Development for NTT DATA Vertex's US and Canada locations. Combining his technology expertise and business vision, John leads with a focus on building successful customer relationships by helping them set their sights on their customers. John has worked with prestigious clients as The Royal Bank of Canada, Dominion Securities, The Robert Bosch Corporation, Getronics Canada, and Charles Schwab Canada. Dalim Khandaker: VP, Quality Assurance and Testing Practice Dalim Khandaker recently joined NTT DATA Vertex as a VP, Quality Assurance and Testing Practice. He is a proven leader and technology manager with more than 30 years experience in industry sectors like Banking, Manufacturing, Insurance, Telecommunication, and Information Technology Consulting. Before joining NTT DATA Vertex, he spent 12 years in CGI, where he held multiple leadership positions in program management, quality assurance, test management, application performance & tuning, application security assurance, and infrastructure system support. Dalim is a frequent speaker at leading industry worldwide conferences and has participated in several technology round table discussions sponsored and organized by eWeek & Computer/IT World. He has professional certifications in IT Service Management (ITIL) and from the QAI Global Institute as a Certified Software Tester (CSTE). Girish Shanbhag: Sr. Vice President Girish Shanbhag has over 18 years of rich experience managing large delivery teams and also has strong domain skills in Banking. In his earlier stints he has worked as Head-Delivery with CashTech Solutions Ltd. (now FundTech). He has also been associated with L&T Infotech Ltd., Rave Technology Pvt. Ltd. and CMC Ltd. as in charge of their Delivery Units. Hirokazu Ishikawa: Representative Director Hirokazu Ishikawa is working as a Representative Director, at NTT DATA Vertex. He has extensive experience in the network industry in Japan and has rich experience of more than 12 years. Major experience of working with Mobile Carriers, System Integrators, and enterprises. He is associated with NTT DATA Vertex since 2005, and has a good experience of working with India. In the role of business development manager, he is instrumental in being a communication interface with the customers in Japan. He has skills to generate strong and long lasting relationships with the customer. Ranjeet Dhumale: Vice President - Japan Operations Ranjeet Dhumale is the Vice President - Japan operations at NTT DATA Vertex and is focusing on Japanese business operations in India. Ranjeet ensures that Vertex is able to smoothly integrate with the Japanese customers and is able to provide services which meet up to their expectations. Ranjeet has received his Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology from Pune Institute of Computer Technology. He has more than 12 years plus experience of servicing large and small Japanese customers and managing varied technology projects. He has good Japanese language skills and a sound understanding of the Japanese customer’s work culture and quality needs. Sanjay Khorate: Vice President - Support Groups In his current role as Vice President – Support Groups, Sanjay Khorate is responsible for building a unique performance oriented culture based upon NTT DATA Vertex Values. He is also managing infrastructure facilities and marketing support initiatives. Prior to this, he had more than a decade of varied experience in strategic business consulting, sales and marketing. In his last assignment he worked closely with premium telecom operators as a Marketing consultant and helped formulate business plans for new services to generate higher ARPU through data content. Sanjay has a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and Bachelors degree in Electronics from VIT Pune.
