- ISO 27001: 2005 (Information Security standard)
- NTT Data Quality Systems
- NTT Data Group Security
Highlights of our Quality Journey:
- A strong ‘Continuous Improvement’ (Kaizen) based quality approach
- The robust process infrastructure having flexibility to adopt the process model as per the requirement of our customers: NTT DATA Software Development Methodology not only provides structure, but it also provides facilities for tailoring the standard processes to suit the client requirements and processes.
- NTT DATA has a robust software delivery model which has evolved over the years and has been tested over time. On the basis of the rich & vast experience, NTT DATA has developed various focused process models to execute projects efficiently, thereby empowering customers to realize their business objectives from the outsourcing relationship.
- Tight Waterfall - Process framework to cater the expectations of customers for detail documentation and in depth analysis
- NTT DATA Swift Agile - Process framework to serve the customers who prefer agile ( Scrum, XP, TDD) way of development
- Quality Assurance/Testing – Mature and well-set processes to execute Testing projects. Process framework is designed to manage the testing projects including:
- Manual Testing
- Automated Testing
- Performance testing
- Testing CoE Initiative - NTT DATA has initiated Testing CoE for fostering knowledge sharing within the Testing practice; as well as research and adaptation of the emerging testing tools and technologies to deliver the best of the testing services to our customers.
- An independent SQA group with a mission to identify weaknesses in the system through regular and systematic audits and process reviews across the organization. This early detection mechanism provides crucial input for the Kaizen initiative in the organization.
- Strong employee involvement and connect in developing and implementing Process Infrastructure through mechanisms like Process Change Control Board.
- Regular training to the delivery team in software engineering and project management related topics is one of the important contributors for the steady and sustainable improvement in quality across the organization.
- A strong Project Management Office (PMO) practice has been established to collate, analyze and publish project data to the relevant stakeholders including senior management for data driven decision making.
- A well established risk management process ensures that the project risks are identified and acted on within the predefined time period. The PMO ensures that regular risk reviews are conducted and publishes a Risk Dashboard every two weeks. The process is now evolved to a participatory forum for risk management where the Delivery Managers come together to identify the risks and devise mitigation/contingency plans.
- Various process improvement initiatives are in progress such as Organization wide Defect Prevention Program, Metrics Program, Automation of Processes and Introduction of New Tools.
